He is now a Professor in wireless communications at North China Electric Power University in Beijing and chairs a project supported by the National Science foundation of China and participates a national 863 project on 5G networks. He is a reviewer of IEEE Transactions, Journals, Letters, and Conferences. He was a recipient of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society Neal Shepherd Best Propagation Paper Award in 2014.
