He received the B.S. degree from Hebei Normal University, Shijiazhuang, China, in 1994, the M.S. degree from Jilin University, Jilin, China, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 2000. He was with Lucent and Fujitsu from 2000 to 2007. In 2007, he joined BUPT, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include optical fiber communication system and network.
